I have been searching the forum but couldn't find the answer to my question, so if this is posted somewhere else already I apologize. I am planning to leave Switzerland in April 2012 meaning I would need to find a tenant to take over my apartment. Do relocation agencies handle this sort of thing? I would like to hire someone to help find a tenant, advertise the apartment, and organize a moving company. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations I would be grateful!

What you need is what we call departure assistance. Some relocation agencies will only provide this service to clients they helped settle here. I know from experience it is more difficult(but not impossible) to provide this service when I did not provide the initial relocation service. Is your employer not offering you any support?

One of my English-language students has just started her own agency but mostly for incoming families. However, if you PM me, I can ask her whether she would be willing to help you but she is in Lausanne and speaks French [and now English] would this be a problem for you?
