Procedure to leave switzerland

I am planning to go back home. What all administrative work must I do before leaving.

Pretty simple in most cities or Gemeinden, you just let them know when you're leaving and they'll hand you back your town documents. Then you need to inform the electrical power company, Billag, the water is normally the same as the Gemeinde. In our town the Gemeinde will automatically inform the relevant tax offices. If you served in the military or civil protection service, you'll also need to hand in your "Dienstbuch" for stamping and taking you out of your allocated unit.
