Leaving Basel

Well, my 3 months in Basel has come to an end. Time just flew by. I didn't find a job (German not good enough), though must say in the end I didn't look very hard, so I decided not to stress over it and just enjoyed a nice long holiday! It's been great, really liked being here and will be back for visits (including December Christmas markets and Fasnacht) before heading back down under middle of next year.

Though if I find something in Scotland, where I am headed at Christmas, then I might stick around in the northern hemisphere a bit longer.

So bye all, enjoy whatever you are doing in CH!

Cheers,
Pam

Hey Pam, It was great to meet you at the curry night a few months back, and I wish you all the very best for the future.

Cheers, Castro, same here, and thanks.

Had hoped to get at least one more curry night in but no luck! Just had a little curry thing now for lunch....that will have to do me for now.

We are leaving Scotland for Basel!! I think you'll enjoy Scotland - Edinburgh has a great winter festival (pretty much all of december) and Glasgow is catching up - so lots to do. Where are you going in Scotland?

Re: Leaving Basel

Oh yes, I'll enjoy Scotland. I'm from Peebles originally so will go there to start with (stay with rellies, no rent to worry about!) and if I am just too bored, will head to Edinburgh. Have worked and lived there before too so should be fine.

Basel definitely suited me and I really like being here so hope you do as well. Enjoy!
