In my year in Switzerland is coming to a close, will I have to pay customs on Items that I had shipped from home (US) to here and then back. Will I have to prove that I purchased all items in the States? Nothing really expensive or substantial. The most expensive stuff will be all of my motorcycle gear.

You don't pay duty on stuff you are exporting from CH. You need to check if you have to pay duty for importing stuff to the US. Used personal items when you move country is usually duty free.
