Thanks for the information on the Radisson gym. I visited it tonight. It's perfect - th e pool is long enough to do real lengths ( and noone was in it) , big poolside area to lounge in (I may take a book and just semi live there) all gym equipment is under 6 months old and doesnt smell of sweat. THe guy on duty was friendly, but not drooling with conceit and testosterone ( unlike the staff at JOhn Valentines. ) A sauna room and a couple of extras are also included in the price - plus two white fluffy towels, free long term lockers.

Hhhmmm, I dont think I want to share this information on the general thread. I Want ot selfishly keep the place to myslef. Oh, and tomorrow I am going back for a free use of everything, before they are at all interested in taking my name and locking me into any charges. I am feeling very happy :-DD
