hi Doc,

I'm keen to do this. Can I check a couple of things. I'm a snow boarder not a skiier, will this be a problem ? Only normally if there's a lot of flat though I did Valley Blanche recently and that was ok I just used poles on the flat sections.

Secondly I am a good boarder (black runs / deep snow is fine) but I do not yet have my avalanche detector, I am getting one later this year. Would one be provided ? At VB the guide gave us one each.
