- 16.10.2011 22:10MusicChickThanks for the rep, Nickers, what temperament in our community, heh? Organic, means we are alive and kicking. Cheers, hope the little one is doing well, he is a charmer already.

- 29.07.2011 22:23OdileArrghh Nicky- I feel dreadful as I've upset Kittster with my old woman's wisdom - there is nothing worse really! I've sent an apology to her. Went for a lovely walk today with Belgianmum and her lovely son (11) and as usual on a wonderful walk, I thank the gods that I've still got a leg to walk with, despite the arthritis and pain - as I so nearly lost it aged 19, in a terrible car crash and 2 years to learn to walk again. I didn't mean to sound too wise (or old). I am 60 now and a grand-mother- and I often think 'why did I make a misery of my life at times, worrying about so many things that don't matter, like having to wear support shoes (my right leg is still 2.5cm shorter). Now I think, who cares? But I realise now it can sound very insensitive.
Have a lovely week-end bises Odile - 29.07.2011 16:25ZugerI certainly wasnt trying to offend anyone. I know everyones situation is different. But people make it so taboo to be a Stay At Home Parent here in Switzerland. Where I am from its the highest position you can hold. Certainly wasnt trying to question your love for your kids. I was merely telling the OP that there is no shame in having some extra time to be mommy. Then it evolved into an argument.
- 12.07.2011 17:00grynchthanks for the greens... I got one groan for my trouble on that one but I felt it worth it.
