Hi Mike,

I spoke to Air Zermatt re. Snowboards on the Monte Rosa trip, and they said, it was not allowed on Monte Rosa, but it is allowed on other tours they offer, so if you are still tempted to go, it is possile on other tours they offer, but I would call them first.

As for Avalanche detector, one will be provided by the mountain guide.
