The Swiss Chancellery has just put English translations online of the:

Swiss Civil Code (deals with issues such as family law, marriages, names, property, etc.)
Swiss Code of Obligations (deals with stuff like contracts, employment law, company law, rent, etc.)
Swiss Penal Code (deals with the criminal law stuff).

The Swiss Constitution has been online for some time.

But remember only German, French and Italian are the official languages. The English translation is for convenience only.

There are also translations of various other laws and ordinances (see whole list) but somehow I do not expect that much interest on the Ordinance on Beverage Containers.
