Can anyone recommend a good deco shop for a kids party? I want to get some fun cups, plates etc.

For party invitations, try Spotty Pencil party invitations - a nice range of free and paid invitations you can personalise and print.

Larger Migros and Coop have kids party stuff or you can have a look in Franz Carl Weber which also have a range of different tableware and decorations but be prepared to part with the proverbial arm and a leg for stuff you are only going to chuck out after the party.

Toys R Us have a good selection as well. They are usually based around a particular theme - pirates, Disney Princesses, sports etc, and are reasonably priced.

Pls share ideas on which websites I can use to send free online party invitations ( and maybe also prine a few). I am planning to organise a summer party for kids. Many thanks

You can try online party stores, as they are cheap and you can order your desired items online. I would recommend you www.partystuffonline.co.uk online party supplies store. They have a huge variety of tableware, decorations, balloons and all stuff relating to parties.

For those near the Basel/Saint Louis Border there is a shop in Saint Louis. near the center of town on the main street form the border.

The sell and rent fancy dress costumes (upstairs). Downstairs they sell birthday party stuff, wedding, hen, stag, general party etc.

You can buy balloons & helium balloons, wigs, blood, eyelashes etc. All the usual stuff.

My friend Carla has a great party shop - she designs and produces party themes - we have used her party things before and they were fantastic. You can buy these online or she has a shop in Hirzel
