English Bachelor degree programme in Switzerland

Hi all!

I am a Swiss citizen but I was born and I always lived in Italy (I speak just a bit of German). However, I spent in Switzerland many months during the holidays, and my family is from Bern.

I am searching for a Bachelor course (or equivalent) taught in English, at a Swiss university. Can you please help me in some way?

Alternatively, I would evaluate an online bachelor (in German too) but just if it is possibile to follow it totally by distance.

My areas of interest are: Law, Communication and IT.

Thank you a lot for any suggestion!! ^_^

(ps: I already saw an old thread on the same topic, but I would like to kwno "fresh" information, if its possible )

Re: English Bachelor in Switzerland

Strange, it worked for me 10 mins ago when I suggested it. Maybe you don't want to go to a school that can't handle three visitors to their website.

Well... the OP has been living in Italy since he was born so he might be willing to go there and find out if somebody actually lives in that place.

Of course, an english program in a place where your mother language is spoken kind of defeats the purpose of going abroad.

I suggest you stick to public universities in Switzerland. They are quite well known and are virtually free. If money (and reputation) is not an issue you could try some of the private universities, I have heard of webster and something like 'international university' in geneva. Google will certainly help you find more details.

Good luck

To the OP: by the way, I don't know if you're aware that the University in Lugano offers a course in "Scienze della comunicazione" (in Italian, I guess).
