Candid and lovely! Did Begga have dog fur on her clothes most of the time?

Not that I ever noticed! Making a sartorial statement was important for Begga.

Re: Remembering Begga

I still have the condolences book and it will be at the Zurich HB market tomorrow from 10.00 - 20.00 then at the Viadukt market on Thursday.... JLF will be taking it to the Basel wake for Sunday but not sure if she is collecting it Thursday night or Saturday morning.

There is still plenty of room in the book for messages and photos.

I was planning on taking it on Thursday night, but if there are more people interested in signing that can't make it by then, I can wait until Saturday sometime. Please let me know by PM so that we don't clutter the thread. Thanks in advance.

I would also like to add that I have the beautiful book made of EF Posts. I was going to wait a little while to send it to her mum. maybe we can send them both together with some stuff we found at the apartment that they may want. let me know how everybody feels and I will be happy to take care of it early Ausgust.

Re: Remembering Begga

Oh boy what a terrible tragedy! I was away for two weeks and saw all the threads and posts and yesterday Lou told me what happened. Don't know what to say. Since I will be away for some more time, could somebody please write my name and/or nickname in the book for me?

Btw you guys are great, a loving and caring lot!

Re: Remembering Begga

For those, like me, who can't make it to the wake this afternoon and considering the rainy weather - why not go to a museum today? Begga loved museums and you'd be surprised how many there are in pretty much every town AND they are usually open on Sundays.

Re: Remembering Begga

A documentary this evening on the French TV France 5 about Iceland....

Going to think to Begga, watching it....

edit : It was a nice documentary. Such a beautiful country..... and they mentioned the "invisible people". Made me happy

Last edited by Bertrand - Geneva; 22.07.2011 at 06:54. Reason: added my thought about the documentary :)

Re: Remembering Begga

Here is a post that was added to Begga's Facebook page yesterday.
Quote:
Guðrún Andrea Friðgeirsdóttir Hi all dear friends of Begga!
I'm making a photobook for Begga's mom and would like to use some of the beautiful pictures on facebook but they're in too low resolution, so if someone has some good photos I would greatly appreciate it if they could send them to me on gandrea87@hotmail.com
Even if your photos of Begga are not on Facebook, I am sure they would be appreciated.

Re: Remembering Begga

I guess there are many who wish this date wouldn't have happened, but you left us a year ago, way too soon. I hope you feel well in your new surroundings and are taking pictures of your new friends and travelers in the next stage of your journey. It still hurts to know that you had to leave us so soon.
