Looking for Praise-hand-clapping church near Interlaken - Page 2

Oh there is one in Zurich. I was kindly invited by a member of the church to one of their services.
I did have an issue with the aisle dancing stuff, though.
At one point they all switched to speaking in 'tongue'.
Rather impressive.. they did have a translator who translated for me in 'tongue' as well.
Twas interesting, but it didn't correspond to what I was looking for in a prayer service.
Each person feels differently though, so yes there certainly is an dancing, clapping multilingual evangelical denomination in ZH though I'm not sure about Interlaken..
I'm sorry I can not remember the name.

They dont do Southern Baptist here if thats what youre asking? Infact they dont even do Glide Memorial here. There is a church in Zurich thats really loud and rock and rollish. But nothing of substance with a message in CH Im afraid...

Are you still looking for this church? I just heard about them this morning. I believe they have a 2 hour service starting at 9.30 a.m. on Sundays at the Gymnazium BZI Interlaken Ost. From what I was told it is a Pentecostal Church, so it will have the Charismatic type of singing/praying etc. I'm Catholic myself, but used to belong to the Charismatic Renewal, and miss that Holy Spirit power,....so I'm considering taking a look soon. I don't know much more details but can find out. If you're still interested send me your email, and I'll get you more info. from the people who visited me today.

I noticed an advert today for evangelical services in Unterseen (Interlaken) on the first and third Sundays of the month. This was on the Information office in Aeschi, so would think the information office in Interlaken should know.

did you find what you were looking for? we visit several times a year and try to get to Pfimi Interlaken see www.pfimi-interlaken.ch they were at Aare park but are currently moving around finding new premises so you ned to check their web site each week for their location - spirit filled - great youth group and community orientated - translation services available......
