well as I've written previously (why does everyone want to remove their hair nowadays? myself I dont really understand it), my girlfriend is a fan of these guys: http://www.hair-removal.ch. they're in Zürich-Stadt, Rotbuchstrase 30. when I say guys it's actually a couple of girls (I'd hardly want some guys to look at my GF's sensitive areas )...
that aside... why do women have the idea that a brazilian down there is sooo great? watching too much US porn, maybe...?

Yeah, it must really itch after a few days! Why do you have a girlie avatar? That's weird too! Ooops, maybe you are from the other bank, sorry!
I've gone for 3 sessions so far of IPL treatments with this lovely girl: http://www.ramona-cosmetic.ch/ (Ramona is her name). I haven't had intimate areas done, however, I'm most comfortable with her.
The machine she uses is fantastic (although, bear in mind that with IPL, not everyone has the same outcome.. Some may have no difference and some may have all the hair gone in a few sessions. Blonde hair cannot be treated, it has to be dark hair and dark skinned people could suffer from pigmentation marks after having the treatment).
She sets it according to your pain threshold, so if it hurts for you, she can adjust it down. I've had a few friends say that their IPL treatments hurt at their beauticians so I'm pretty happy that with her machine there is no pain.
I can see a slight difference with my hair regrowth, nothing major though. Ramona said that with her machine it takes between 4-6 sessions for it to be completely gone. I guess I will probably go for 6 sessions then.
She only speaks German, but as I said, she really is a lovely girl. I also make use of some of the other services she offers.
The room is also very clean and sanitary.

A question for all the men out there, is it common that men get hairier as they age?
In my experience and observations it is true. And many of them don't pay any attention to what happens to their ears, eyebrows and noses either. Nothing worse than sitting across from a 50-something in a meeting and his eyebrow hair is going wild and crazy while his toupee is neat and styled.
I think it's funny when guys make fun of older mens' hairy backs when they're 18... and then Karma gets even later.
Karma's an evil bitch. I love her. She dings cars in parking lots that park over the line, too.

No, it's called reverse depilation. As you get older, hair becomes scarcer where you want it and builds reserve storage areas in places you'd rather wish it wasn't.
Not that I have any personal experience you understand. My foliage is all in rather wonderful working order.

I went here for laser treatment. http://www.bodyclinic.ch/en/
It is not the cheapest, but I chose him because he is a qualified dermatologist and not a teenage girl who has completed a 3 hour course at night school. He speaks excellent English too.
As previously mentioned, you will have the best result, the darker your hair and the lighter your skin.
They give you and anaesthetic cream to apply for half an hour before the treatment, but it still hurts a little. The doctor described the pain, as a bit like being flicked with an elastic band and his description was spot on!

I don't think that men get hairier but that they keep the same amount of hairs spread over the body. Hairs often emigrate from the head to ears, shoulders, back etc over the years. The male body is probably like a schengen-zone for the hairs: in the beginning they are not used to it and stay in their own part but later they spread all over the body

Nothing to do with porn at all. Hair covers up the best bits, so it makes sense to remove all of it.
As for men, the more hair the better (in common places, that is, such as chest).

Nicely put - Mrs. P waxes my back as well... I deal with the nose hair but ear hair - how do you get a proper view on that - I mean I see old doods with hair growing out of their inner ear but how do you get the scoop on whether or not you've got hair growing out of there short of organising a mirror convention thing ?
I used to work with a Brazilian guy who had dark hair growing from the tops of his ears - told me he used to rip it out and there was plenty of blood... looked bizarre though.

In my teens I thought hairy men were gross, in my 20s my attitude hadn't changed much, the older I get, the more I appreciate men who look like they've been around some, this means more hair in some spots, less in others.
Meanwhile, for women, it depends on the person. Plenty of "fetishists" enjoy women with hair even on their "best bits" (afaik, I don't grow any hair on my brain or my personality so I'm unsure why someone else would need to remove theirs ) as it helps keep the spot as it should be when it receives attention.
Funny how it used to be a "fetish" to have grown women as bare as little girls 20yrs ago and now it is the other way around. Meanwhile, the laws are more stringent against underage sex... People sure are funny animals.
Question of taste, but a man should have body hair, even if he's bald (many very good looking men are).. and woman should not.
It's such a turn off to hear men speak about their hair removal (unless they're cyclists or swimmers, then it's understandable).
It's awful to see a woman all dressed up in a smart skirt and suit, wearing sheer stockings and nice shoes..... with hairy legs.
I had a very dark haired friend back in college, who actually always carried a pair of tweazers around in her purse, to remain picture perfect ! Ok it's an extreme, but I did understand her.
