Cornwall falls into the sea...

ok.. not quite...

http://www.thisiscornwall.co.uk/Corn...ail/story.html

An earthquake shook Cornwall in the early hours of yesterday morning when tremors with a magnitude of 2.2 rolled out of Bodmin.

It's OK, it was only Bodmin. Wouldn't be a loss if the whole place disappeared under the moor.

I'm glad you agree. Bodmin really is a dull, depressing $hithole. The only thing of interest was St. Lawrence's Psychiatric Hospital, even that has gone now.

From "The meaning of Liff" by Douglas Adams:

BODMIN (n.)
The irrational and inevitable discrepancy between the amount pooled and the amount needed when a large group of people try to pay a bill together after a meal.

Re: Cornwall falls into the sea...

Must've heard a kiwi was coming for Christmas and decided to help me feel at home.

But seriously, 2.2.... (shaking head)...most of NZ has been rocking more than that in recent days!

No, this is Cornwall falling into the sea-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15251292

Ah now, Bodmin. I've spent many a happy hour out on the moor when I should have been working at the water treatment works near St Breward. Just inspecting the water quality, honest.

El gryncho...quick question, if let's say Cornwall really would fall into sea (along with your little thatch there)...will you be offering diving courses?
