Hi all! I am getting a little desperate. It has been 1.5 years that I am searching for a decent hairstylist in Zürich. Both cuts and colours I've got so far were disastrous. After long search full of drama and sad outcomes, I gave up any hope that I could do both the colour and the cut at the same place and started looking separately. I did manage to find a good hair colour technician in the end and I thought at least that part was solved - only to find out a week ago that she's left Zürich
So now I am back to the beginning. Tired, exhausted and hopeless.
Concretely, I have three questions:
(1) Do you happen to know anybody who can do decent highlights? I have Jennifer-Aniston-style highlights, i.e. thin and in 2-3 colours. That seems to be an unknown procedure in Zürich or at least in the places I've been to; they all make these stone age 1 cm thick one colour highlights that turn cheap yellow after a week.
(2) Do you have anyone who can do a simple chin-lenght bob? This might sound funny - and never before did I imagine this could ever turn into a problem - but I am trying to get a simple bob since I moved to Zurich and so far I only managed to serve as a display for every possible mistake a hairstlylist can make, starting with the fact that the chin-length ended everywhere from ears to shoulders just not where the chin is. I have no explanation for this phenomenon.
(3) Does someone has experience with the Room of Design? I am a bit wary of these 'star' stylists, because they often turn out to be better in marketing than in hair styling and I wouldn't want to cough up a fortune only to end up looking like a steamed sunflower.
