My parents are flying in the day after Christmas and I need to grab some things from Ike's before they get here. I am skiing tomorrow, so I am left with Monday morning. Are stores and the like open normal hours the day after Christmas in Switzerland? Thanks.

Generally no as that is a public holiday Stefanstag. You should assume no so best advice is get back from the skiing in time and shop tomorrow.

Maybe you should cancel your skiing?

After 4 pm on Saturday the 24th, the normal stores will be closed until Tuesday 27th.

Again at New Year the stores will be closed from 4 pm Saturday 31st until Tuesday 3rd. There might be slight regional lateness.

Outside these times you would have to go to a main railway station and buy groceries there, in a supermarket that opens later every day.
