GBP change in CH or use a cash machine in the UK?

Hi,
I may need some GBP, my bank account is in CH. I am sure that many people here have some experience with this:

What is better to change SFR to GBP in Switzerland? Or is it better to get the required amount of GBP through a regular cash machine upon arrival to the UK?

Post finance charged me CHF 4,-- to collect £200 from an English ATM at Sainsburys.
SBB charges about CHF 4,-- to exchange CHF 500 to GBP
So not much difference for me. But charges can vary a lot!
