I wonder if anyone can help me please. I am wanting to sell some items & wonder if there is such a thing as a car boot type sale in the French part of Switzerland?

Cover france and switzerland. I use it all the time. I think most of the boot sales start around feb/march.

I have only done it in france. You have to register beforehand either at the Marie or with the organiser of the boot fair you want to go to. If you click on the location you should get the information along with the contact telephone number.

It's usually around 10 euros (ish) for a pitch, you can't just turn up like in the UK. there is a limit on the number of boot fairs you can attend in France, i think its 2 as you are liable to tax after this I think.

I have no clue how the Swiss ones work.

Well, the little symbols next to the listing will indicate what type of sale it is, for the french ones.

green circle is a marche aux puces/ vide grenier (pretty much the same), and they have brocante, bourse a jouet et vetments( kids clothes and toys), book sales etc. I usually just pick the closest to me and maybe visit two in a morning if I want. It's entirely up to you........
