Any idea where to buy a replacement microwave plate and roller ring? Ours disappeared in the move here...

Based near Baden, have a car so out of town places are fine. In UK, I'd go to the local DIY store (small family owned one) but no idea here...

Would it be an idea to give the make, diameter of the plate and diameter of the ring? Maybe someone has one left over from a microwave which gave up the ghost. I keep a cellar full of the 'bits which still worked' after the machine didn't. Maybe other folk do too. You never know.

I'd ask in some store selling electronics: Fust, Interdiscount...

Who is the manufacturer? Some appliance msnufacturers sell accessories directly, for example Miele in Spreitenbach, Electrolux in Mägenwil, etc. Otherwise I would try Fust, Wettingen or Würenlingen would be near to you. Or in Waldsut, Hettler.

You might even take the microwave with you so you can try to see what fits best.
