Stand alone steam oven

Does anyone have experience with one of these free-standing steam ovens? New apt has no steamer and I rather liked having one. Anywhere you'd go to look for one? Toppreisse was not totally helpful. We were in fust today and saw a Panasonic for about chf 700 and a couple of Miele models that were over 1000. I don't want the super cheap version, but not sure I want to spend 1500 either.

Would like about 20-30 liter capacity, I think.

Thanks for any advice/pointers/etc.

Do you need a 20-30 liter capacity instead of using a range top or oven steamer that would cost a lot less ?

I use a Fissler 35cm Wok with the steamer insert accessory. It's a big one and can handle a lot of meat and veg.

If you really do need that much capacity on a regular basis then all I can say is that I've found Miele products to be top quality, but to put out the money they sell for personally I need to know I'm going to use it for years.

I don't have any experience with free standing steamer ovens so can't recommend either

Thanks. I actually want the oven. The cooktop type thingie doesn't do what I need. In our old oven we'd roast a great chicken, and make excellent casseroles.
