I never participated (well once) but loved reading the old argy-bargy that used to go on, on here.
Seems so tame these days, I even used to follow some users because they were always up for a ruck, but now, what happened? Have all the feisty members left or deleted their accounts?
Didn't say the forum wasn't still good though, and not everyone gets enjoyment out of watching fights... I just miss it.

I was wondering the same!!
Been writing contradictory topics, was sure to get groans and arguments, but instead I got approvals comments or "thanks"...
They drank the water and are sitting in the chill-out room awkwardly sipping tea with raised pinkies...those who venture in here do it mostly to b!tch about "all the noise here!", but never actually point out what noise they're talking about. It got rather quiet and tame (as you have noted) once they all left.
There is still back n forth though- Botox thread is active, walking to school thread, I was just threatened with a peeler in the Mexican Dork thread .

@Hausamsee: As you must know well, there are some topics that are guaranteed to end in EF online fisticuffs. Why not make your own day (plus that of other EF Fight Club lovers) and start one?!

1. threads get closed down as soon as they get controversial
2. posters get accused of trolling even when they express perfectly reasonable opinions which are not the mainstream
3. censorship
4. cliques acting in unison shutting down a newbie or someone they deem to be challenging the status quo
5. the awful groan and reputation points
6. etc, I could go on.
I'm not moaning btw, this is still an excellent forum for tips, advice, fun, trading etc but not for great debate anymore (alas)

We all started drinking the unfluoridated homeopathic water. We much calmer now and the brain farhtz that caused our previous behavior have disappeared!.
ya know it's funny... I'm sure I remember posts where Uncle Maxy complained that the "old argy-bargy" some of you lot were involved in drove people away.
altho he never did provide any, even the slightest form, of evidence to back this up.
now we have a poster saying the lack of old argy-bargy is making this forum boring.

Good point. Though I never said it was boring I do think the best relationships people have are not always über-friendly, so in that respect, it definitely has lost something, just not sure what...
