Anyone know of a place you can rent to host a party for about 100 people? We're looking for something that's accessible by public transport, relatively close to Lausanne. I know the Chateau de Chillon is available but it's quite pricey.

Also, can anyone recommend a caterer for an apero dinatoire (standing aperitif/dinner) for those 100 people?

A lot of caves in the region offer this, extra discount if you drink their wine. Some museums also offer this.

How about a cruise boat on the Lac? CGN hire their boats out, and the various rates and routes are on their website.
