When I lived in the UK I used to recycle my old glasses by donating them to Vision Aid Overseas, where they send them to developing countries to give them to people who need them.

As I now seem to have rather a few pairs cluttering up the place, I was wondering if any one knew of such a place here in Switzerland that offers such a service?

Lions Club collect used glasses (and hearing aids as well) for use on missions abroad. Here is the website for Lions Club in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, perhaps you can contact them to find out your nearest donation drop off.
