Metal polish

We have now been in CH for three whole weeks and I have looked everywhere (well clearly not everywhere!) and on line and am reaching the conclusion that you can only buy metal polish for cars here. Does anyone know where I can get something like brasso or duraglit? And wax furniture polish? It seems like a strange thing to need but it will help make my life complete!

Re: Metal polish

I'm pretty sure that some of the larger chemists' shops (Drogerie not Apotheke) have quite a selection of brands.

Re: Metal polish

If you have a Manor where you are, you can get Hagerty silver and Hagerty brass polish, or something called Twinkle for silver and for brass and copper, which is just as good.
It's on the floor where the ironing-board covers and vacuum cleaner bags etc. are. Probably the top floor.
Oh and they do a good wax polish there too.
What a dull life I lead!
