Mac Microsoft Office V.x user interface in German?

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the user interface language of Microsoft Office V.X from English to German? I know how to change the spell check etc to check spelling in German but want to change the actual user interface. The laptop is running Mac OS X v.10.4 set to German. We're donating the laptop to a local nursery here and want it to be as user friendly as possible.

Thanks

I had already looked at that web page but it didn't seem to explain how, or whether it was possible to change the user interface to German. It may be that the English Language version of MS Office V.x doesn't include any other languages other than English. If that's the case then I'll probably install Open office for Mac.

Most of MS software needs to be installed from the language it is sold in. Multilingual software is not big on MS lists.

If you do find someone with a German version that is an exact match to yours, the key can be used to activate it. So long as the license is on one machine only, the software should be able to be installed without problems.

Thanks, that's worth knowing. The s/w is only going to be used on one machine so that' certainly a possibility. We can probably borrow a German version for the install.
