I am a part time stripper in need of some technical lighting advice. Panda has to pay his bills.

Imagine a dark room with absolutely no light. I want light to come from the ceiling and fall on the floor like a torch beam. So the light bulb does not light up the whole room just the general area where the light beam hits the floor.

I tried using a light bulb which has silver backing and the package said that the light beam would make a 50° light cone. It is bit too wide and the bulb ends up lighting up the whole room!

Any idea what I should be looking at?

a spotlight/searchlight? A proper one they use in theatre and stuff, not one of those things they call spot lights, which are lights that look like spots...

just add a device like a toilet roll with a grid inside. this will restrict the light to the area you need. look up snoot/grid/honeycomb.

Cool some new angles to think about.
Cyrus proper searchlight will be huge and expensive, I wonder if there are mini versions?

Phil I see but what is with the grid inside? What purpose does that serve?

It "channels" the light in order for it cover a smaller area. It's like a light optical focus.

That's one way to make sure the guys on the forum answer.

You will need a smoke machine, otherwisw you wont see the beam of light!

First tip:

Get boobs.

This is lit with spots, from the side & back but without smoke, hence no beams.

I am not taking it off but putting it on.

I just want it straight down so you see just one foot lighted circle on the floor and as little bounce light as possible.

I will do few test and try my best to get electrocuted.
