Re: 8 ball / 9 ball pool in Zurich

It was me and Tash.

Has anyone been to En Santo (the one the OP posted about) recently? As this thread is a little old.

Someone at the Christmas party was asking me about a pool hall, and I described the one near Hardbrücke with some vague arm-waving, so here is a quote including the link.

Have only seen it from the outside but it looks like a good place to sink some balls

It very big, nonthreatening and good fun. Maybe not hardcore enough for those that dislike the slots and game machines, but its a good group venue, with large tables for snooker etc. with sufficient tables meaning you can stage your own competition..

So is THAT what we will be doing this Wednesday? Seeing as the Talacker has somehow eluded the calendar?

Hardbrücke is a good idea for a night out, and there are plenjty of bars in the area than could be combined with shooting some balls. 4Akt is my personal favourite...

I am in. Time and place required.

My pool sharking blitzes my limbo skills.

If there was a heptathlon for pub sports......

I don't think I can make this Wednesday... maybe later on. My secret hope was that it would fill the void between Christmas and New Year - I'll be back on the 29th. Sooner - I can do Thursday, or maybe even tonight...
