8 ball / 9 ball pool in Zurich

Not sure if anyone is interested about this topic, but I do and tot I will share my likes

I finally found a decent place in the heart of Zurich to have ur drinks and play pool... I do like the pool halls since I play a bit serious, still a wanna be though!!.. But for those who come from the US and maybe UK(sorry donno much about UK bar pool tables but they definitely have some good pool players from what I experienced from the travellers to the US), it will be a nice place to go have some drinks and shoot some pool.....

This place started just a month or two ago... Owner is Pakistani/Indian and he also offers food.... And the place is huuuuuuuuugeeee.... and brand new with a couch area which can seat about 10-15 people.... Its got a dancing floor, dining tables for about 20 people, few video machines and ofcourse my favourite the pool table...

Yea, its true that its in the shady place of Langstrasse but its definitely something to check out if you like to shoot pool...

The owner agreed to book friday nites on the couch area if we are interested...

EN SANTO
Langstrasse 65

And he would be expanding his dinner selection soon enuf.... Hmm.. I am craving for a good kashmiri biriyani...

Lemme know if anyone is upto it... and I can organise an event...

Vishi

Hola.
I would be keen. Not very good at pool, but not too shabby at sitting around drinking...

Re: 8 ball / 9 ball pool in Zurich OR anyone actually

I may have mentioned it pool centric... But actually i think its a really good place for anyone in the forum...

The place is still new.. so not much crowd... But its built brand new...and has a lot of space.... and is flexibile in terms of demands (like food/noise etc)

So, I think its perfect for a group like ours..

Re: 8 ball / 9 ball pool in Zurich OR anyone actually

There is a real big pool hall near Hardbrücke cinema complex. Its huge.
There is also one on Niederdorf which is not quite pool but French Billiards (no pockets!), but they do have a couple of snooker tables. It hidden upstairs at the back of an alleyway between the Andorra bar and the pet shop.
You would never find it unless you knew

Yup! I haven't played for years so I'm probably crap now. But pool, like karaoke, is just for fun.

I'd also like to play a game or two of 8-ball. I was a registered member in Geneva and played in competitions. Let me know when anybody would like to go for a game.

Re: 8 ball / 9 ball pool in Zurich

ok - quick update: been to billiardino, very nice place, loads of tables (both sizes - 8 feet & 9 feet). can't commit to organizing an event (work schedule too unpredictable) but recommend those interested try it out, it's really nice.
have fun

Re: 8 ball / 9 ball pool in Zurich

Someone at the Christmas party was asking me about a pool hall, and I described the one near Hardbrücke with some vague arm-waving, so here is a quote including the link.
