CPRE(Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering)

Hello,

Has anyone taken the CPRE Foundation Level exam controlled by IREB (International Requirement Engineering Board) ?
If yes, could you please provide information about the below questions :

1) Where can I get model questions (preferably with answers) for the exam?
2) Where can I attend a professional training before the certification exam?

Cheers,
JD

Re: CPRE(Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering)

Hello jeeta,

The company where I work had a contract with a company called Fuchs Informatik and they do seminars (I did it in German but I think they also do one in English).

Here is a link http://www.fuchs-informatik.ch/diens...en/ausbildung/

I did a 2 day course in German to prepare for this exam.
I sat the exam in English and the translation from German to English was very bad. The IREB is esentially a German organisation.

There is a book self study guide which you can buy in English off Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Requirements...4266283&sr=1-1

However I have to admit that I would not have passed if i had not attended the course. They have lost of trick multiple choice questions à la ITIL which can not be tackled "logically". They refer to specfic theories and ideas presented in the course and to a lesser extent in the book.

Regards

John

Re: CPRE(Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering)

Thank you very much John.
I called up Fuchs.Apparently the training is in German only. Also I am already referring to the book you mentioned but training would have been faster and easier.
Please let me know if you come across any information regarding the training in English.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
JD
