Zürich Men Suits Dry Cleaning ?

I have about 8 suits that have been worn on a variety of hard-core nights-out such as Talacker-lunacy, and they all require cleaning. Does anyone know a dry cleaner offering a good price for suit cleaning in the Zürich area before the Christmas lunacy season begins ?

Thx

dave

PS: Yes, I have looked for another dry cleaning thread, but was unable to find it....

Terlinden
or
Germany (probably much cheaper)

These chaps do it for 26 francs per suit: www.texsanawaedi.ch/preise/index.htm (my reason for mentioning them is that I don't have to go to them, they visit my office)

Thanks. I note that they list ski gear amongst their cleaning offerings. Is it OK to dry clean ski gear that has goretex or waterproof coatings ?

Yeah, I can ring them and ask, but as many people know, trying to get rectification of problems cause by dry cleaners post-event, is like trying to pick your nose wearing a boxing glove.

From my sailing days I noticed you can wash GoreTex stuff up to around 20 times before they start losing their magic. Stick it the machine. There're Dry Cleaners on every corner in Seefeld all competing with one another: great deals on multiple garments

Re: Zürich Men Suits Dry Cleaning ?

There is a place in Wiedikon where I took my dry-cleaning once.

It is a good shop, 7 CHF per piece, so a suit would be CHF 14

I don't have the address but it is on Kalkbreitestrasse near to the train line.

I have to take some clothes for cleaning and will then check out the right address

Re: Zürich Men Suits Dry Cleaning ?

Technically speaking, i don't do * men * suits
But anyway, I nowadays go to the dry cleaner that is at the Airport - they are quite good, staff is friendly and knowleadgeable, and they give you good deals when you leave multiple pieces. Another good thing is that they have the machines in house.
Would strongly disrecommend Terliden - in little more than 3 months, they managed to trash a coat, lose a pair of pants and give back to a little dress that was not mine....

Dave 8 suits? Time to buy some casual gear

CHF14 for a suit sounds reasonable. In UK a shop wanted £30 for dry cleaning my suit I bought a new suit instead.
