I am here in your village tonight and tomorrow until 2 p.m. I was here tonight for the Gaga concert to meet my friend from the US, who is her lighting director. He has only 3.5 hours free tomorrow, (Thursday), from 11:30 a.m to 2:00 p.m. and I would like to show him something besides the bar at the Swisshotel and the Hallenstadion.

Is there anyplace to go to lunch via train or bus or feet in or around Oerlikon that is really Heidi-ish? He has been in downtown Zurich before, so that is out. I was thinking of Rigi, but I don't think we have enough time for that.

Any suggestions?

try the new prime tower restaurant and lounge. very nice overview of the entire area including the city, lake and mountains... but you might need to make a reservation for teh restaurant while the bar is more of a relaxed setting.

Be careful. 11.30 - 14.00 is only 2,5 hours!
