The game is coming out tomorrow and would like to buy but looks like the version with digitec is in Deutsch only

anybody know where I may be able to purchase the English version of this game over here?

You mean Black Ops 2? For console or PC? If for PC, is it not available on Steam? I have ordered the PS3 version from Amazon UK and expect delivery early next week (not dispatched as of yet though ).

This place has it. Dont know if they have an actual store or if it is online only. My work colleague orders stuff from them alot.

You'll always be sure of an english version if you order from amazon.co.uk, the games are also cheaper than almost anywhere in Switzerland, even with shipping.

I've also noticed they bundle the games in packets valued just under the threshold that would get you a fee, although it could have been a coincidence.

You could also try amazon.de, as long as you make sure you're ordering the English version.

Here's another question along the same lines--what is this PAL thing? If my Xbox is from the US, do I HAVE to buy US-version games, or will UK-version or European-version games work on it?

Softridge usually have a bunch of imports - they do have outlets in the mainstation and Stadelhofen.

While the price may seem better online (play, amazon, etc) I am happy to pay a few bucks more, if that means I can get started right away - still have bad memories haunting my postman because play.com would take ages!

Megsandbacon, there are two issues with the pal thing. If you are connected with hdmi or component and getting an HD signal then you don't really have to worry about PAL vs ntsc for the signal. The big issue with the US xbox (I have one) is that some games are region locked and will not work. Electronic arts games are usually locked. Rockstar and some others are not. The trick is finding out if the game is region locked or not before you buy it. I have bought some games here that I know will work because I tried them out or found out before buying them. Otherwise you have to buy the games from the US or wherever you can get a US region game. google is your friend for determine if a game is region locked. Also downloadable content is region locked as well. So if you bought a game here and tried to download an add on using a us xboxlive account the game wont recognize it.

This was posted on another thread, but play-asia.com lists which games are region free, and which are region locked. I'm not sure how it works for Xbox, but for my ps3, I have an account EU that I use normally, and an account US (with an american credit card) to buy DLC for US games.
