Cool! Now when will they post videos flying down the black diamonds so you can get a feel for it before you break your own neck?

Re: Streetview in Switzerland

Google have added some new Streetview images today including the Prime Tower in Zurich from May 2013. Most of the images were from 2009.

Re: Streetview in Switzerland

A lot more of Switzerland has now been released on Streetview. The delay has been due to the privacy laws. No images have been released within 70m of sensitive buildings. Just look for the blank patches on the map to find them

It also includes quite a bit taken on foot in parks, ski areas etc.

You mean the bit on Aebnit?

Looks like a kindergarten/school (if you look at the aerial photo and the end of the visble bit on google), so maybe there were a bunch of kids in the photo, or they requested to be removed.

Re: Streetview in Switzerland

Kindergarten, Krippen/Creche, Schools, Senior residences, hospitals are considered sensitive.

Banks, Synagogues, Churches, PSI, CERN, Atomic Reactors, Google Campus, Military Installations, Airports, Brothels, Pharmacies, Embassies are o.k.

In conclusion: If you hid your non taxed money, switched congregation, and finally bought some Viagra to celebrate your renunciation before you joined the Swiss Army. All visible on Street view. I just to not know what you are doing with this green glowing rod.

Re: Street view arrives in Zug, finally

yeah ticino too, it took so long!
I think it's important for tourism too, i always check places to stay or hotels beforehand i would guess other people does it too, and there are mountain footpaths too they will keep adding more.
Images are good all taken in the summer looks like.

Zug is one of the ĘpioneerĘhaving a 360░ virtual tour http://rundumzug.ch
way before street view was a mass worldwide :P

Just sharing, previously in Switzerland, it was a huge issue related to privacy for such thing as street view. therefore you see almost no people appear in http://rundumzug.ch.

Check it out as it include many interior of nice place like the clock tower
