| | | University of Lugano or any other English university
I'm very much interested in I.T at Bachelors level in English throughout as i'm very weak in French and little to knowledge of German. I also have consideration for Business Economics or finance related courses.
I was wondering if University of Lugano is any good in terms to academic performance, students satisfaction etc. Or are there any other private universities which i can lean towards for the courses listed although Fee might be issue as universities like Webster are out of my reach.
Please help me out as i have to send it my applications this week, before my mock exams.

If you are also considering long distance education I can highly recommend the Open University www.open.ac.uk.

I can't leave Switzerland during the process of naturalization and the page you guys posted, it lists out all the degrees taught in English though at masters level only. http://www.unibz.it/en/public/university/default.html
This university, where is it location, is it in Italy?

I can speak only about Lausanne, but there only some very specific classes are taught in English, and indeed only at Masters level. This concerned mostly HEC, and some classes at EPFL.
For all the other branches, and in the humanities especially, you're treated as a native speaker of French, and non-Swiss have language exams to pass before admission.

does it mean, i can't find a cheap university in Switzerland which teaches courses in English at bachelors level. There has to be some private ones which are not expensive like 30,000 chf a year etc...

Lots of degree courses there in English.
I don't think you'll find many private colleges with fees less than 30,000.

We have four national languages in Switzerland, and university degrees are taught in three of them. Why should you benefit from a cheap education if you can't even master one of those three languages?

I hope some of the undergraduate degrees at ETHZ are entirely in English, otherwise I'm pretty certain that you're out of luck...

Open university, is that in Switzerland?

Sure i can speak french to some extent but i don't have a level of A2 lol

A2 is in no way adequate for uni. To order something in a shop maybe.

Which doesn't explain why a state-funded Swiss university should offer classes in English only. If you don't master the language that's too bad, but it's not reason to expect Universities to use a language which is not one of the four national languages.

My son attended Franklin College in Lugano. Www.franklin.edu I am not sure if they offer the course you seek but you can check. It is part of the American College network so fees are somewhat higher than the Swiss Universities.

Open university, is that in Switzerland? | | | | | The Open University is a British long distance university, they do have a branch in Switzerland and branches in other countries in Europe. If you go on their website you will find the various bachelor programs they have along with the course fees for Switzerland.
