As I apply education in Unil,they require all of copy documents should be certified. Where can I made certified copies of diplom in Lausanne? I asked some companies, just for one copy will be 90 chf,I have so many documents need to certified,too expensive for me

Anybody can help me?

I'm pretty sure we got ours done at one of the larger local post offices..

CHF1 per copy at your local Gemeinde Verwaltung.

However, my diplom is not local diplom, it's a foreign diplom. I head that they certificate only local documents.

My Australian diplomas and certificates were CTC'ed by a Swiss official at my Stadt for use in Sweden ( www.studera.nu ) - no issues.

Can you tell me what you mean local post offices?La Post? Should I just go inside and certificate my documents?would you tell me how much is it?

If you looked at the receipt above, it translates to CHF1 per copy.

CHF57 for 57 pages ( some documents had several pages ).

It is merely to certify it as a TRUE COPY of the ORIGINAL, nothing else. The original could have been faked, in which case, you would need an Apostille etc. ( far more expensive ) to certify AND authenticate.

An Apostille does NOT authenticate a document, but rather the signature of the person certifying it (and their capacity to certify it).

Have you thought of bringing the original to the Uni? I brought my originals, in person, and the admissions clerk made copies and, as I had everything else with me, accepted my application as complete. And, yes I was admitted to the program.

Yes, I brought my documents to the Unil,but the lady whom I talked to, she told me that they need certified copies of all documents. Besides, as my diploms are provided by Russian, I need to translate them also, that would be more expensive.

Price varies greatly:

City of Zurich CHF 20 per page.

All Canton of Zurich Notaries: CHF 20 for the first page, CHF 5 for each additional.

City of Basel CHF 12 per page.
Or if all pages can be stapled to one stack: CHF 12 for the first page and CHF 4 for every other page. If no copies are provided by costumer a copy will cost CHF 2 per page.

Canton of Basel Stadt Notaries: CHF 20 for first page and CHF 2 for every other page. (Copy fee is included). If own copies are provided at least same fee, but if time consuming it will cost more.

Canton of Bern Notaries: Between CHF 20 and CHF 100.

Canton of Obwalden Notaries: CHF 15 per page.

City of Luzern and Canton of Luzern Notaries: First page is CHF 20 every other page is CHF 5. But if NO copies are provided by costumer it will cost CHF 10 and every other page will be CHF 2!

I had been in both local Gemeinde Verwaltung and la post today, neither of them certify copy of diploma.

La post told me they can certify only passport or ID ,the office de population does not certify the documents

Today I go again to the university, and secretary told me in big city Service académique(office de population ) can helps me, when I went there, they provid me address where I can certify documents in cheap. Finally, I get it.
