Buddhist meditation

I'm coming to Zurich in March, and am looking for people to sit with. Are there any Buddhist groups in Zurich? (especially any conducted in English or French?)

Re: Buddhist meditation

I am sure there are plenty of possibilities, maybe start off by asking here:

Re: Buddhist meditation

I joined a few friends for meditation in an orangerie and it was really nice.Per session costs about CHF 15 and it is run by a woman called Elisabeth Gutmann. It is right next to the Rietberg Museum.every session though could only have a maximum of 8 people so you gotta ask elisabeth when's a good time for you.And she's very flexible. She's Swiss by the way.

Re: Buddhist meditation

febe

Thanks for the info. It does sound nice, but I have some hesitation about having to pay 15F to sit; I am an experienced meditator and don't need to be led. I am really looking for others who want to get together regularly as a group. Of course I am interested in hearing about dharma teachers in town or passing through and about any established centers in Zurich.
