Refund from Digitec didn't work (messed up)

Hello.

I ordered a Nexus 4 from digitec after I thought my Nexus 4 suffered water damage, but it started working just a little while after I ordered (the rescue methods worked), so I cancelled it, then it started asking for bank details, at which point I pressed back by mistake. This led me back to the order page where the Nexus 4 was showing "cancelled" and that the order is settled with the payment recieved. Because I messed this up - I'm not sure what to do now, how would I ask digitec for a refund. The bank statement doesn't show any refund, just the payment (CHF 408), so I need to contact digitec, but there's no clear number on their website. Could somebody please tell me how to contact them?

Thank you very much.

Re: Refund from Digitec didn't work (messed up)

Thank you very much for that - I realized I didn't write everything in the post, but they don't speak English, if I'm correct - and I don't speak French/German/Italian etc - so I'm not sure what I can do. I also need to show proof to them.

Sorry for being so unclear. Thanks a lot for you help, mirfield.

I've had extensive email exchanges with them, in English.

Their customer service is great - give it a try.

They have never let me down on returns / exchanges / warranty swap-outs.

Re: Refund from Digitec didn't work (messed up)

How was your return experience with Digitec? Was it hassle free? Did you get store credit or got credited back to your credit card?

I am writing this because I recently bought a Samsung M.2 SSD, which turned out to be a SATA version (noticed SATA printed on the box, upon receiving the device). I need a M.2 SSD that would be compatible with the PCIe M.2 slot on my motherboard. The SSD device is unopened and factory sealed.

Since the threads is two or so years old you should ideally start a new thread, but since you have already posted, I'll continue:
The refund was completely hassle free - I never strictly returned anything, however. I've only cancelled items before shipping.
I believe the money was credited back to the credit card.
All in all, I think it was quite smooth.
It is also the law, I believe, that they have to take your return if you bought it less than two weeks ago and is sealed.
They will refund you at the price you purchased the SSD at, unless you open it now. There's a link at the bottom of the Digitec page with their full return policy.

if it is sealed you should be able to get a full refund. start the refund procedure asap to avoid problems.
