Quidco / cashback

Hi there,

In the UK - there are loads of "deals" websites, but I can't seem to find similar in Switzerland?

Is there an equivilant to Quidco/topcashback or even something like groupon (I know groupon have a swiss website, but they never seem to update it!)

Re: Quidco / cashback

Do a search for Deindeal. That's the local equivalent of Groupon.

I don't think that cashback sites exist in CH, happy to be proved wrong obviously.

Agree it doesn't look like a quidco equivilent exists in switerland. A bit surprising, but then I'm not sure online shopping is quite and big...?

Re: Quidco / cashback

I haven't used it, but here's a German website which seems to be the same as QuidCo:

http://www.qipu.de/

Even now, 8 years after moving to Switzerland, I still use (and adore) QuidCo.

As I kept my UK bank account open, I can still get hefty amounts of cashback using QuidCo (eg they're currently giving 17% cashback for all hotel bookings via eBookers.com) It makes a huge difference when booking family holidays, so if you're a Brit and haven't discovered QuidCo yet, sign up for a free account !

Here in Switzerland you can shop through rabattcorner.ch. I think it's the biggest cashback website here and it works like Quidco.

Wow, excellent tip, thanks !

It's really good to know that Switzerland finally has a cashback site.

But if you do still have a UK bank account, then it's worth shopping around. Here's how two UK cashback sites compare to RabattCorner. (Obviously, the rates change from week to week.)

That TopCashBack/Venere deal is amazing.

If you book your hotel via Venere, you can get 22.17% of your money back again (if you have a UK bank account) !! Blimey.

Most importantly though, if you have relatives back in the UK, get them to sign up to one of these sites. They'll earn a fortune, it's free money, particularly when you buy a high-commission product, like a mobile phone or internet contract, or buy house/car insurance.
