I'm new to this forum and I'll like to salute you all.
I found great information on this forum and I decided to join.

I'll be in Lausanne for the next year starting next week and I'll like to know some information regarding the rent. I found an apartment near Cathedral with 3 bedrooms at 3550 CHF. I intend to live there with a friend of mine and I would like to ask if this rent is good or too much for this area. The rent includes all the facilities (electricity, water, internet ...) plus a parking place.

Is that a 3 room (3 pièces in the local lingo) or a 3 bedroom apartment? If the latter then the rent sounds reasonable as it includes utilities and that very precious asset in central Lausanne, a parking place.
