Hi

Does anyone know anywhere in or around Zurich that sells original ski posters from the 50's etc. I've found a place in the UK that sells them but wondered if there was anywhere here so I could go look at them

I know that Artifiche (Zeltweg 10) has some. You can also look in the directory or google under Plakate. In my experience though, you can find a broader range of choices, not to mention lower prices on the net.

Reproductions/Reprints:

art poster gallery, stadelhofen has an extensive catalogue you can order from there.
Alternatively try the various tourist offices, St. Moritz, Arosa, Zermatt etc etc They normally carry posters and will deliver.
SBB also has an online store as far as I remember. . .
AllPosters.de or .com will deliver

Best bet is on Ebay, I have got a number of travel posters; Cunard etc from there.

Have ordered one from here and managed to wangle a discount (the swiss always look at me as if I'm mad when I ask that here...).

- www.gal-123.com : a famous gallery in Geneva... the must for vintage posters !
- www.skivintage.com : a french site with ski and mountain posters, less expensive than Geneva ! (I know him...)
