Re: Fitting out an appartment

Ok, so you want us to help you find a company to fit out an apartment in London. No other information was specified, so I can only assume that you meant London.

In which case - I doubt that we can help you - this is a forum about life in Switzerland.

Re: Fitting out an appartment

considering you are saying that you are "currently in London" which makes it "more complicated" I assume you are moving to Switzerland?
whereabouts?
otherwise it's a bit hard to recommend companies

Re: Fitting out an appartment

Hi NicNac,

Is it an apartment here in Zurich you need to fit out? If so I can help you out! I have just moved here from the UK in September.... I specialised in kitchen design in the UK (currently on a intensive Deutsch course to help me along with getting a job here) although I can design any room whether it be kitchen, bedroom, bathroom etc...... Let me know what you're after.

Heidi (Ironic I know but this is really my name!!)

Re: Fitting out an appartment

Answers; we ARE moving, to Zug in March probably, appartment depending. Interior fittings are the first things needed; kitchen, bathroom, floors, choice of walls, light fittings etc. Basically I have a shell and have to let the fitters know what we want where. I have a basic budget included in the cost of the appartment but we can add or subtract from that as we like.
Any more questions, sorry if I was vague.
Many thanks for any help.

Re: Fitting out an appartment

Basically I belive if you own this shell then there are many companys doing this type of work, The ZOM (Züri oberland messe) in Wetzikon would be a good start, its a Swiss version of the ideal home exabition but im not sure when this is. I believe it is in the summer so you have missed it for this year. If the shell is rented then normaly the owner will decide what quality he wants fitted.

Re: Fitting out an appartment

it is a very hands-on process unless you have someone you trust A LOT.

I'd allocate some time to be over here.

And yes, this is speaking from experience. You need to monitor the building and fitting very closely...!
