Teen moving to Lausanne. Help please?

Hi guys , Renzo here. This year I am moving to Lusanne and I am going to live there for about 3 years. I have some questions to ask.

1. What is better Lusanne or Zurich?
(Shops for Streetwear , Skate Shops , Videogames etc. etc.)

2. What activities do teens do in Switzerland?

3.Are there actual Malls/Shops in Lusanne/Switzerland?
(Look at #1)

4.How is food there? Where to teens hang out?

5. Mode of transport for teens?
(Bikes , Trains , Bus)

6. Is Lusanne boring?
(or Zurich or Switzerland in general)

I might add more but thats all thanks please answer I need it

Hello Renzo and welcome.

I'm sure the right people would come along to answer your questions.

In the meantime, please note that the name of the town is LAusanne

Re: Teen moving to Lusanne. Help please?

I'm not a teen, but saw your post and have a tip:

Europe's largest skatepark is in Zurich. Lausanne is also very good for skating, you'll have a blast at the spots. Montreux, which is closeby, has a good indoor skatepark (one of the best I've been to).

When it comes to malls - not too many in Switzerland, and people/teens don't tend to hang out at the malls here.

Don't worry - Switzerland is a beautiful country and as a teen, you'll meet loads of people of your age through hobbies and schools. You'll be fine.

....and welcome to the forum

The upside is, that you can drink beer on the streets in public from the age of 16. So people meet by lakes, riverfronts, etc. Have a beer, skate, watch the sunset, smoke a doobe.

Ya can't get that in the states unless you are at the Burning Man or on the west coast.

Keeping out of this because It's not something I can help with at all.
What I would say is that I have several friends in the UK who know I live in LAUSANNE but who, when talking to someone else present, point out to them that I live in Switzerland in.... something which is always a mixture of Lucerne and Lausanne, and which I have corrected umpteen times.
Could be the original poster has the same problem.
