Re: Cool Second Hand / Vintage Clothing Stores

hello,

i'm joining this conversation a bit late...
60/40 is a steep cut! does anyone know of any community marketplace (could be virtual) where everyone can sell their "vintage" clothing where guarantee authenticity is common courtesy? i know Facebook used to have a marketplace for Toronto folks to post their items for sale. Is there one for Zurich?

Cool Vintage/Second hand Shops?

I came across a couple of second hand stores in Seefeld, but every time I pulled something off the rack, it was priced between CHF200 - CHF700 minimum. Are there any COOL second hand stores in Zurich where you can find original bargains. The sort of stores you can easily find in places like Paris or London, or New York.... or, almost anywhere else in the world really. I did check out some on the Langestrasee and around that area, but they had some pretty ugly stuff.

Don't confuse vintage clothing stores with second hand clothes shops - they are two very different outlets and the prices will tell you so.

Secondhand designer clothes shop in Zurich?

I recently lost some weight and today I feel brave enough to get finally rid of my old clothes. Most of them will go to a Brockenhaus or Texil, but I also have some designer clothes I would like to sell.

Does anyone know a secondhand designer clothes shop that would buy my clothes in the Zurich area?

Thank you!

Re: Secondhand designer clothes shop in Zurich?

There are few along Seefeldstrasse in Seefeld. I can't remember their names, but look near the Kreuzstrasse tram stop.

There is also a shop called Deja Vu, right near Kreuzplatz. I know they take things on consignment. They are a bit more alternative than the ones on Seefeldstrasse, but I have seen some designer brands in there (Zollikerstrasse 4, 8008 Zürich).

Re: Cool Vintage/Second hand Shops?

Hi, there are some cool second hand shops by Bahnhof Wiedikon and the Viadukt, called Caritas. Bargains and vintage clothes can also be found at the big brockenhaus by HB. Have fun!
