| | | [Seek] Larger Duvet Covers!
I'm very new to this forum and still trying to navigate the site!
Is there anyone out there that knows where I can get duvet covers 240x240 for some lovely duvets I have inherited in our new chalet?
Any suggestions greatly received - have been surfing the net in the UK forever!
Thanks Lynda |

Thanks Lynda | | | | | One of my major complaints is that Swiss duvets fit the bed exactly and do not have the extra bit that drapes over. I have a king size bed here.
I imported my duvet from the UK gave in, in the end..(God I sound vaguely female!)

We've had the same problem, the biggest size Ikea do is 240x220. How good are you with a sewing machine....

Manor usually have a huge selection of sizes. You can also try Pfister or even the specialist bedding shops, probably a sure bet, but most likely more expensive.

My wife and I completely shelved our plans for a king-size bed (already shaky after difficulties with the bed itself) when the only full-sized doonas(/duvets) we could find were scarily expensive (even mid-range ones were around CHF1000).
I've come to the conclusion that the Swiss don't sleep in beds bigger than a double and larger sizes are only sold here to rip off the rich foreigners. |

Never mind the comment about riping off foreigners... We'll ignore that one.... |

Seems to be some confusion between duvets and duvet covers......a good goose down 4-seasons 240x240 duvet could easily cost up to 1000 CHF, but not the cover... | | This user would like to thank grantley for this useful post: | |
