Disposable camera photo developing Neuchâtel

Hi all, this may be an absurd question but where can I get photos from a disposable camera developed? I grew up when you still had to take your holiday snaps to be developed but *sigh* times have changed and alas, Neuchâtel doesn't have a Boots.

I read on a thread about developing photos in Geneva that somebody used Migros but I assume the one in Marin is the only one big enough to offer this service. I don't have a car so really don't want to go out there twice for some photos.

Before anyone questions why I'm asking for such an antiquated service, I do have a good camera but have bought a couple of waterproof disposables for snorkelling on our holiday.

You could try Photo Americain opposite the main post office. They seemed pretty versatile to me when I got some studio pictures taken.

Likely to be pricier than Migros of course.

Thanks - I've honestly never even noticed that place. Doesn't hurt to enquire. If I find out that it's way over-priced of course I can go to Marin... I'll just have to make a shopping day out of it... Twice.

I don't think they're actually there any more. I think they closed a few months ago to be replaced by a Chinese medicine practice and weird interior design shop.
There's the camera shop opposite the bistrot du concert which may do them.

Re: Disposable camera photo developing Neuchâtel

There is a photo shop on the main street in Peseux. I can check with them if they develop such films.

BM... I must walk past that place all the time and didn't think of it.

Carlasmom that would be great if you're going there anyway but don't make an extra effort on my account. Peseux would be fine, gives me an excuse to go to ALDI (plus I work very near there).

Re: Disposable camera photo developing Neuchâtel

any place that develops film should be able to do it. normally, the camera winds the film into the canister as you take photos, so in principle you could take the canister out and have the film developed normally.

Don't mean to sound ungrateful but... Dur - I know that! I just didn't know anywhere that developed film. Always went to Boots in England... I miss Boots.

So do I!

Anyway, our local Migros used to have a service whereby you put the film into a special envelope and handed it in at customer Service desk, then collected it from them however many days later.... worth asking if they still have a similar system?
Long time since I used real film, shame really. Sometimes it was interesting to see photos you'd forgotten taking from months before!

I caught a nasty bug and were sick the past week. That is why I didn't follow up sooner. Have you had yoir pix developed yet?

Anyway, the photo shop in Peseux has a website.

The pics aren't even taken - I think about everything months in advance. But will refer to this thread once I'm ready to get them developed! (I was actually off work sick when I posted the thread which could account for why it exists so far in advance... I was very bored!).

Hello, you can get films developed with Ifolor, they have a pretty good reputation and the prices look reasonable as well.
