How to open a velux for cleaning?

Had the usual trawl around the web without .. Anybody know it's possible to turn a velux like this all the way around for cleaning?

I have four of these and can't figure it out.. Logic says it would be silly to climb out onto the roof, there must be a way to clean the from inside?? I've poked and pulled at the hinges but no joy.

Once you have tilted the window you should slide the stoppers on both sides into the holes on the window frame. This holds the window in place.

..... and you've only just discovered this?

The central pivoting, tilting position of a Velux, with a gap top and bottom, provides much better room airing, then just tilting up from the bottom ..... and can be opened by just a very small gap, for airing in winter.

On very cold days, Velux recommends keeping the ventilation flap closed.

The velux website has a wealth of information on proper airing and ventilation.
