Anyone go to the UK?

Hey there

I'm new in the community and i just wondred if someone got the same Problem... :)
My mom was born in the UK, my dad's from Afrika. I speak english but not so well. We've been in Wales in the Holidays last summer to celebrate my mothers birthday (she's 72).
She discoverd the "Tesco Finest Coffee And Walnut Cake" and she absolutely loves it!
Now, in 3 weeks, my mom celebrates birthday again, and it would be so a big surprise when she would get this cake again!
So i wanted to ask, if someone goes to the UK the next days and if this Person would be so nice to send me 2 of These cakes?
It ist clear, that i woult pay everything, for sure.
It woult be so wonderful! if someone read this.. please write me! THX

Re: Anyone go to the UK?

Hi Madlen Do you know anyone in the UK who might post a couple to you? Why not ask on your Facebook - usually some kind soul will help out! It would be a lovely surprise to get the exact one she liked on her holiday.

It would be so much easier if you order them from Tesco online and ship them to her :

Re: Anyone go to the UK?

I'm guessing your mum no longer lives in the UK or she would be able to get them herself.
I am going to the UK tomorrow for a week and I could probably bring some back with me and post them to you from here when I get back next week.

Re: Anyone go to the UK?

Isn't something like this going to end up looking like scrambled eggs (or much worse) if put into the hands of the post-office (or any other transporter for that matter)?
