Do you know Gerstaecker? Order all your own stretchers and canvas and make them. It works out much cheaper and you can make exactly the size you want and ensure you use quality products.

I've seen canvases in Brockie (Dreispitz, Leimgrubenweg 9), they have also some art supplies in reasonable prices.

You'd be better off going to France and buying a roll of canvas. Go to a schreinerei and get a few frames made (with reinforced corners of course) and mount your own canvases. Be sure to frame it loosely, then shower it with cold water as the canvas shrinks, prime it and paint.

You can always reuse frames by unpinning the canvas and rolling it up for storage.

That will be much, much cheaper than buying pre-made canvases, which for some weird reason are a rare and luxury item here. Besides, I find the canvases here to be flimsy and badly made.
