Present dilemma.

Birthday present for man in his late 30's. I am always out of ideas.

Perfume, boots, jacket, shirt - All done before.

Need new options from those who are rather good at comping up with nice ideas. Open to all nice options.

Thanks.

Sam

Re: Present dilemma.

Maybe a nice dinner out or day out, depending on his interests, fun hike with a nice celebration in a cute hut in the mountains ( could be done as a surprise ) and with other friends ? Find a stone along the way and write with a permanent marker his birthday, year and the mountain you took a hike on.

I don't think you've explored the perfume options deeply enough. Try Allure, from Chanel.

without more background & budget it's difficult to suggest ideas.

Books, nice pen, travel set, nice bottle of whisky.....

Re: Present dilemma.

Taking into account all the information that you provided about this "man", I can only suggest the following:

1. A staff made out of a narwhal horn with a big fat emerald at the top.

2. Knee-high boots made of skin of above-mentioned narwhal lined with baby-seal fur.

Sounds like he's into soft porn. There you go, you figured it out all by yourself.

It's illegal to buy them; you can only rent them.

Wait a few days and then it will be a past dilema, and you'll be glad you put it all behind you.

Re: Present dilemma.

If you have a BBQ, then anything related to that.
Men love to BBQ and there is an endless amount of grill paraphernalia, spices, sauces, wood chips, etc.

This is my favorite place for everything BBQ related, just over the border in Jetstetten.

Is that the gift, or for hunting the narwhal and baby seal?

Re: Present dilemma.

ALDI currently have this huge set of ring spanners (wrenches) on offer for CHF40. No real man could fail to be impressed by such a gift - it includes lots of less common sizes and the largest is 32mm. Now that's a tool!

Better hurry, though...
